Biotech Sales Specialist

Our client is a stock-market listed, global biotechnology company that provides specialist equipment for scientific professionals in various areas that include PCR, genetic analysis and flow cytometry along with other instrument systems, assays, reagents and consumables.

Due to expans ion, there is an exciting opportunity for an experienced biotechnology professional to join their Australasian sales team as a Technical Sales Representative where you will:

- Have accountability for sourcing new business and maintenance of existing relationships
- Achieving set budgets and sales targets
- Manage a select brand of products to promote within a defined customer base
- Be responsible for sales planning, product training and client relationship management.
- Attend Trade Shows across the ANZ region and will develop and execute technology seminars applicable to customer research focus.

To be considered for this role, applicants need:
- Bachelor Degree in Science (minimum)
- Minimum of 2 years sales experience within a Life Science background
-  Practical experience with qPCR, flow cytometry, microscopy and/or imaging would be a distinct advantage.

The successful applicant will have the support of management, marketing, customer service and technical teams and will receive ongoing sales and technical training.
