Senior Quantitative Researcher

Our client is a full service market research agency who works alongside their clients to help develop & refine marketing and business strategy. They are considered by their clients to be ‘partners’, a true extension of the business team. This is not your ordinary, external market research agency. Their approach to research is collaborative in nature and flexible in approach.

The Position
The successful candidate will work in a small, collaborative team, reporting to the Head of Quantitative Research. They will work primarily on ad hoc quantitative projects, with the opportunity to work on qualitative projects from time to time if desired.

They will have overall responsibility for project design and end to end execution of projects. They will be responsible for ensuring that both the client experience and the project deliverables meet and exceed client expectations. They will work closely with junior and mid-level consultants, as well as with the Head of Quantitative Research.

The successful candidate will have strong technical research skills, and will be able to manage client relationships with finesse, develop powerful presentations and reports, and write compelling proposals.

The successful candidate will have the following skills, experience and personal qualities:
• At least 8 years market research experience including extensive ad hoc experience
• Service industry experience – retail, financial services, e-commerce, telecommunications etc
• A passion for developing creative, innovative research approaches that deliver specifically to client objectives
• Ability to write a clear, logical, professional and client-ready proposals
• Solid abilities in project design (including sampling, questionnaire design, experimental design etc.)
• Strong hands-on data skills, with advanced/expert-level ability in at least two of Q, Excel and SPSS
• Ability to find and communicate a compelling story from quantitative data
• Outstanding communication skills
• Solid project management skills, with the ability to lead day to day project management
• Degree qualified in a related field
• Experience coaching and providing training to junior team members
